NO ALL'AUMENTO DELLE TASSE!
Hello everyone. Please read and understand this message, it is very important.
As many know, the administration of the University of Turin has decided to increase tuition fees from next year (what is coming, for instance).
The initial proposal for unity was not to give (almost) more funds to CGA ("self centers" or faculties and departments) and to students pay the "extraordinary contributions" variables to be added to the already incredibly high fees: as a student of physics, because of the laboratories, costs more languages, the first would pay around 150 € more (even a veterinary € 300) and the second "only" 50 € more.
This would have meant an impediment to social: the rich student could enroll in veterinary medicine, or physics, or medicine, the poor student, however, would be forced to choose a faculty of "second class" such as letters or languages, or political science.
Thanks largely to the opposition made by the representatives of independent students in Appropriation committees, the proposal is now changed into a "simple" tax increase.
The government cut funding to universities;
Unity cut funding to the faculties and departments;
YOU HAVE 'PAID BY STUDENTS!
ARTICLE 1 OF THE STATUTE OF THE UNIVERSITY 'OF TURIN READS:
"The University of Turin is a public institution whose aims are higher education and scientific research and technology."
However, it appears that the chancellor and the central administration of our universities have forgotten everything: not just to review the funding system, procurement and unnecessary costs (hundreds of millions of euro spent each year in "university building, second life, etc ...) The unit has decided to seek immediate increase in fees for students. A choice that, in addition to being profoundly unjust and dangerous (because it creates a precedent: if every time you are in trouble you pay all the students, who can afford to go to college?) Is mainly illegal: the fact Act requires universities to keep tuition revenues to below 20% of the money they get from FFO (Ordinary Finance Fund, the money it grants the state).
E 'for queste ragioni che l'assemblea di Fisica ha deciso all'unanimità di occupare la facoltà ieri sera (http://130.192.112.102/fastpress/ArticoliPdf/107172.pdf), col sostegno di tutti i collettivi.
PER QUESTI MOTIVI, CHIAMIAMO TUTTI A RACCOLTA PER IMPEDIRE L'ENNESIMO SCEMPIO DELL'ISTRUZIONE PUBBLICA E ESORTIAMO TUTTI A PARTECIPARE A:
- COLLETTIVO DI LINGUE STASERA h. 18.30 DAVANTI A PALAZZO NUOVO

February 27: The FLC CGIL SurfingDay
After the great mobilizations of autumn, which saw hundreds of thousands of students and schools literally block the streets of our country, the movement is undergoing a being tired certainly understandable, but from which it is important to get out as soon as possible. The measures which we strongly contested, from 169 to 133, are taking shape through the implementing regulations that, if possible, are worsening the situation further. Work is also the location Parliamentary bill Aprea, dangerous step toward the privatization of schools and the negation of the value of student representatives. COSTRUISCI LA TUA PIATTAFORMA LOCALE E MANDALA A: info@unionedeglistudenti.it
Diritto allo studio: In this section you will find all articles about our initiatives on the right to study, that is that right enshrined in the constitution that we should allow free use of the school system. Actually going to school costs ... dear! In the face of our constitution!

challenging the circular on Registration 2009/2010 before the TAR of Lazio 01/22/2009
Circular No 4 of 16 January 2009 is a circular application of regulations that currently does not exist because they have yet to be pronounced the required opinions of the Joint Conference and the Council of State. And 'one of many reasons that lead us to challenge the move before the TAR of Lazio illegality. In this sense, the information contained therein can not be considered binding nor for schools, presentation of its offer, or for requests for training provision that parents these days and until 28 February, are asked to express at the time of enrollment of their children. For this reason, in days gone by, we asked the schools, particularly primary schools, to confirm the POF approved in recent months, which provides schedules and organizational models are rich in time and activities, and parents to choose those models that have guaranteed quality, acknowledged at international level, the school of the first cycle. We invite all stakeholders (Head teachers, faculty, staff and parents ATA), in various ways involved in these day operations of enrollment to avoid anticipation of the implementation of its decisions are not binding rules and abide by, on the contrary, as provided by law. For primary schools, for example, there are plans for the possibility of a working week to 24 h and the single teacher, the model schedules currently in force (27, 30 and 40 for full time) with copresences and workshop activities. But that offer additional (low-time, professional resources and activities) is not and should not be regarded as a constraint, but an option that the government, only for reasons of economy, sought to add to what is expected, and unfortunately so far achieved from our primary school, the pride of our education system. Our appeal to the TAR is a step towards protecting and enhancing the good public school that we have that, unlike Tremonti, we do not consider a luxury but a right of girls and children. If the content of the final regulations will be the same patterns present challenge also.
